We match you with a compliant, experienced worker and confirm the booking. You receive the worker's name, DBS status, and relevant training details before they arrive.

Simple invoicing
One weekly invoice, nothing more
After the shift, the worker submits a signed timesheet. We invoice you weekly. Worker pay, holiday pay accrual, employer NI, and pension — all included. Workers are engaged directly by PSS, not via umbrella companies. 14-day payment terms.
We hold, verify, and maintain every compliance document for every worker. You never need to chase a DBS or a training certificate — we do it, and we tell you before anything expires.

Temporary shift cover

Payroll & compliance
We engage every worker directly — not through umbrella companies. We manage PAYE, employer NI, holiday pay, and pension auto-enrolment. One simple weekly invoice — no complexity on your side.

Insurance coverage
All placements covered by employers' liability (£10m), public liability (£5m), and professional indemnity (£5m) insurance underwritten by Zurich Insurance Company Ltd. Policy No. KINGREC2533, valid 23 May 2026 – 22 May 2027.

Our rates start at £26/hr for weekday day shifts (7am–10pm). Weekend days are £27/hr, nights (10pm–7am) are £28/hr, and bank holidays are £29/hr. All rates are inclusive of worker pay, employer NI, holiday pay, and insurance — no hidden fees. Volume discounts available for 50+ hours per week.
We guarantee a 2-hour response for short-notice and emergency cover. For planned shifts, we typically confirm a named worker within a few hours of your request. Our directors are personally available day and night — call 07873 341750 any time.
Yes — every worker placed by Prime Staffing Solutions holds a current enhanced DBS certificate. We also verify right to work in the UK and ensure all mandatory training is completed (moving & handling, safeguarding, fire safety, infection control, first aid, and more) before any placement.
No minimum hours and no minimum term. You can use us for a single shift — there's no obligation to book again. Our Terms of Business cover rates, timesheets, and invoicing; we send a copy with your first booking confirmation.
We invoice weekly every Monday for the prior week's shifts. Payment terms are 14 days. Timesheets are signed by your manager after each shift and form the basis of the invoice — no surprises.
