What data we collect and why
We collect personal data in the following circumstances:

- Care worker applications — if you apply to work with us, we collect employment-related information including your name, contact details, work history, right to work documentation, and DBS check results. The legal basis is the performance of a contract (or steps taken prior to entering one) and compliance with our legal obligations.
- Client communications — if you are a care home manager or client contact, we hold your name, job title, organisation, email address and phone number for the purpose of managing our business relationship. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running our business.
We do not collect sensitive personal data (special category data) through this website, except where required as part of an employment process and with your explicit consent.
How we use your data
We use the data we collect to:
- Respond to enquiries and provide you with information about our services
- Manage the placement of care workers with client organisations
- Comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, including employment law and safeguarding requirements
- Maintain records required by HMRC and other regulatory bodies

- Care homes and client organisations — where necessary to arrange a placement (e.g. sharing a worker's name and DBS status with a care home prior to a shift)
- DBS checking services — to carry out enhanced criminal record checks on care workers
- Payroll and accountancy providers — to fulfil our payroll and tax obligations
- IT and website service providers — who process data on our behalf under appropriate data processing agreements
All third parties are required to handle your data in accordance with UK GDPR.
How long we keep your data
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary:
- Website enquiries — up to 2 years, or until the matter is resolved
- Care worker employment records — for the duration of engagement and up to 6 years thereafter, in line with legal requirements
- Client records — for the duration of the business relationship and up to 6 years thereafter
